COA: This work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from West Chelsea Contemporary.
Exhibited: Twenty Four in London, Lazarides, London, June 24-July 21, 2014 Additional Information:“Overtime I was taking the bus and the subway less, so I started painting what I was seeing everyday. People on street corners waiting to cross the street or just walking down the street. My work isn’t so much about people in urban landscapes, but more about how our egos are in control” (quoted in Dig In Magazine, December 29, 2011, online). In 2016, Amory earned a BP Award from the National Portrait Gallery in London, and in 2017, he completed a residency at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. He currently lives and works in Oakland, California.
